History
Construction began in the 13th century, with successive campaigns adding chapels and towers. The Renaissance north tower is a distinctive feature, as are the 13th–16th century stained glass windows. The building was damaged in WWII and restored in the 1950s.

The cathedral remains active and is open to visitors year-round.
