Introduction

Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe with Kiev as it’s capital. It is the 2nd largest country in landmass (after Russia) in Europe.

Ukraine is an independent country since 1991, when it broke away from the USSR. In 20214 Russia occupied Crimea and conflicts raised in the Donbas Region.

Currently, Ukraine is at war with Russia since 2022.
